Rechenberg was originally established in Bundaberg in 1971 by Mr. Gordon Rechenberg and his wife Marion as a family business specializing in locksmithing, with the focus of the business on security, in the form of locks, safe and related services.
In 1993 due to increasing demand, Rechenberg opened its own Security Monitoring Station and saw the need to diversify, and included in its operations a Security Division, which covers the design and installation of security alarm systems, access control systems, CCTV surveillance and recording systems. Rechenberg also secured a dealership for Gallagher Security Power Fence Systems.
